A few weeks ago, we launched a Google Expeditions Kit in our district by demonstrating a few lessons with some 2nd Grade and 5th Grade students. Teachers demonstrated lessons covering US Monuments and Underwater Excursions. The response from students was so awesome that I had to share it with our Administration. So I created a video that I am also sharing here.
If you have not tried Google Expeditions (Google Cardboard) in the classroom, you’ve got to try. You don’t necessarily need viewers. You can use Cardboard with any mobile device without the viewer. But as you can see, the viewers do lend a 3D experience that kids will not forget.
